Two days after Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Clean India Challenge, Industrialist Anil Ambani joined Modi’s initiative to rid the country of litter and rubbish. On Wednesday, Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani picked up the broom to clean an area outside Churchgate station in Mumbai and urged the nation to follow suit.
He was one of the 9 people nominated by Modi to take the ‘Clean India’ message forward. Anil has in turn nominated 9 other people including Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Tennis Super Star Sania Mirza and Boxer Mary Kom to take up this challenge.
Sania Mirza was game for Anil Ambani’s challenge. “I accept it. I will make time for it before leaving for the WTA championships.”
